Stampin' Creative Blog Hop

It's that time of the month again, when the Stampin' Creative Blog Hop Girls come together to showcase some inspirational creations on a theme for you. You may have arrived here from the lovely Louise Sims or you may have just started here, but either way, you're in store for some wonderful Sneak Peek delights.

The new Annual Catalogue launches on Tuesday, 2 June, so we have chosen to showcase some Sneak Peeks to help wet your appetite.

Firstly I have to say how excited I am about the new In colours. Aren't they just gorgeous?! … and don't they have such great names?!

  • Delightful Dijon
  • Cucumber Crush
  • Mint Macaron
  • Watermelon Wonder
  • Tip Top Taupe.

Now … with so many gorgeous new products, what would I choose to showcase in this Blog Hop? That was a hard decision.

Cupcakes … Who doesn't like a Chocolate Cupcake? … So the Cupcake in the Ronald McDonald House Charities Stamp Set, the wonderful stripes of the new Envelope Paper and two swaps given to me at Telford Regional Training recently, gave me an idea.

One of my swaps was an interactive treat bag similar to this, but I wanted to make this fun slider card, so that the Cupcake would raise …

… and raise … to reveal …

… the Birthday Candle.

You would not believe the fun you can have with the Sprinkles of Life Stamp Set. Cupcakes, Ice Creams, Trees and baskets of flowers, there are so many opportunities available. In good old Stampin' Up! fashion, it wouldn't be complete without a coordinating Build a Tree Punch that punches out the cupcake topper amongst many things.

The candy stripes of the Watermelon Wonder Envelope Paper, seemed so fitting with a cupcake, that I couldn't let it pass, without making a little gift bag out of it too. The paper is a little thinner than our usual Designer Series Paper, so perfect for envelopes, but great for layering and providing you're not heavy handed with the scoring tool, great to make small gift bags like this one.

The Gift Bag Punch Board has been added to the Stampin' Up! Punch Board family, so you can now make wonderful bags effortlessly. With double sided paper, you can make a cuff to the top to add a coordinating trim as I have done here, just add an additional horizontal scoreline to the opposite side that you are punching on.

All of these lovely new items will be available to order from 2 June. Order through my Online Store and use this newly generated Hostess Code and you could be in line to receive a gift from me.

Unsure of how to use this code? … then click on my Shop Now tab at the top of my blog for instructions.

Customers who order online with me, who allow me access to their contact details, will automatically receive a complimentary copy of each new Catalogue published within the 12 months that follow.

Are any of these products I've showcased getting you excited for the new catalogue yet?

Well, if I've not managed it, then hop on over to the lovely Kim Fee to see what Sneak Peeks she has in store for you.

Enjoy the hop and enjoy your weekend.

  5. Thank you all for your lovely comments.

Thats why I love the Slider Card … it really is magical Caroline and is most certainly a must to be made for any crafter Pip. I think I'm in love with the Envelope Paper, they really are just so fantastic and being that little bit thinner, offer less bulk to a project when layering. Candy stripes and cupcakes just go hand in hand Louise and it had to be a chocolate cupcake too.

Oh goodness Emily, a video tutorial??? Now you're asking for something there. Perhaps one day, but if you'd like instructions, I'll happily help there. I'm pleased you like x
