Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop - Autumn/Winter Catalogue Sneak Peek - Christmas Card Idea

Welcome to this month's Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop, where this month we are sharing a few Sneak Peeks from this year's Autumn/Winter Holiday Catalogue.

I have designed this Christmas Card for you using the Star of Light Bundle and the Reindeer from the Santa's Sleigh Thinlits Dies.

Rather than opt for the traditional colours, I have picked out Mint Macaron and coupled it with Sahara Sand.

It's a simple card where I've used the same Ink colour, Sahara Sand, as the card I've stamped on.

The Star behind the Reindeer is die cut from Vellum and there are a couple of small stars cut from Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper to add a spot of shimmer.

I hope you like the simplicity of this card and the elegance of this new Stamp Set. If you live in the UK and would like a copy of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue to see more of the wonderful Stamp Sets available from 1st September you don't already have an assigned Demonstrator, then be sure to get in contact with me.

Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop - Baby Love

I simply can not believe that in just under a month I will be sharing in the experience of an Incentive Trip with several hundred other Demonstrators from around the globe … but it was all made very true when my travel documents arrived on Friday.

I did a rather prolonged Happy Dance around our living room and nearly kissed the UPS Delivery guy when he handed them over.

Well, right now, we from the Grand Vacation Blog Hop, would like to welcome you aboard this hop for a journey of your own … one that we know as … April's Baby Love.

This week, a friends daughter will be taken in to deliver her first child … a baby girl … and a baby who's been wanted for many, many years. With her in mind, I set to creating this little gift box of notecards. They are 4" square and I've made two of each to fill the little gift box.

The mother isn't a bows and frills kind of girl, but more plain, simple and natural, so I chose a very neutral colour palette of Tip Top Taupe and Sahara Sand and coupled it with the softness of Very Vanilla and Pink Pirouette.

I've not long purchased this Stamp Set and just adore the little characters.

I couldn't think of a more fitting sentiment than this …

… until I saw this ...

Oh my, they really are all just so adorable and given a touch of colour using Blender pens and/or Aqua Brushes, their characters were brought to life.

I was tempted to start adding all sorts of embellishments to make this share less simple, but I hope I've shown just how sometimes simplicity can just hit the mark and be perfectly fitting for that special person.

I hope you've enjoyed this share and I hope you'll head over to the Blogs of the other Mediterranean Achievers, who I'll have the pleasure of meeting in less than a month. I can't wait and I thank all of those who have supported me in achieving this. I am most certainly going to go and enjoy it to the max.

Thanks for popping by and if you're another of the Achievers, I look forward to sharing in this experience soon.

Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop - Wedding Dreams

Welcome to this month's Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop and the theme for this month is Wedding Dreams.

This whole Mediterranean Incentive Trip is a step back in time to our very own Honeymoon, which was spent in the beautiful Tuscan Countryside. We have sadly not been able to return to Italy since and this October we celebrate 7 wonderful years of marriage, so we very much look forward to returning there in May as part of the cruise. I think for me, it makes this cruise all the more special.

For those of you who follow my blog on a regular basis, you'll have read how we as a family have an abundance of Milestone Birthday's to celebrate within our close friends and family this year. Well it's not just Birthday's that are standing at milestone years, but also Wedding Anniversaries, with no less than four 25th Wedding Anniversaries to celebrate before the end of July.

With Wedding Dreams being the theme for this month, I felt that a 25th Wedding Anniversary card would be perfectly fitting. Twenty Five years is quite an achievement these days and although it should be shouted from the roof tops, I wanted to create a card that was a little understated and a little different. I therefore decided to stamp up the floral image from Awesomely Artistic and disguise the number 25 within it. Can you see it now? ...

I stamped the image for a second time onto Whisper White cardstock, before die cutting and stacking it up on several, several layers of Pear Pizzazz die cut numbers.

I think this photo here, shows more easily how the numbers are disguised. The flash of green is just picked up from a side on view. A subtle flash of colour that helps to add depth and dimension.

The silver foil boarder of this card and the silver leaf give a gentle reminder of this Silver Wedding Anniversary.

I hope you like what I've shared with you today and can perhaps see how you'd recreate a stacked up image like this for yourself.

Ensure you take a look through some more Mediterranean Achiever's Blogs for lots more inspiration. The full list of those taking part this month, can be found below. Just click on a name to be taken to their blog post.

Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop - One for the Guys

Welcome to the Grand Vacation Achievers Blog Hop for February. This month our theme is …. One for the Boys.

I feel sure that you will find some incredible inspiration from the projects that you see throughout this hop, as I'm sitting here amongst some of the finest of Demonstrators, who I'm soon to share the experience of my first ever Grand Vacation Incentive Trip with … and I can't wait!

With Male Cards often being some of the hardest to create, sit back and enjoy what we all have to offer.

It's my Mother-in-law's 80th Birthday this coming weekend, which had me thinking of her husband and his love of gardening. The Botanical Garden's Suite in the Spring/Summer 2016 Catalogue, is so often used to produce such beautiful feminine creations, but I set myself a challenge to use the set to create something for the guys.

I gave some thought to my husband and son with this card and the fact that they both like to know the mechanics of how things work … something a little different, but not right out there … so decided to punch a circle out of the bottom corner of the card, to embellish, decorating the hole, with Designer Series Paper on the inside.

Why a circle? …  Why not. All I knew was that I wanted to take the corner away, but to still have some floating embellishments. I think you can see it better in this final photo, that everything is anchored to the faux wooden stick and the Birthday marker.

I so love the little abstract stamps that come with sets like this and couldn't resist but couple them with what would normally be used as the centre of the die cut flowers.

This was my first play with this great bundle, that can be purchased with an amazing 15% saving, whilst receiving your choice of a Sale-a-Bration Item for FREE!

Thanks for taking part in our blog hop, there are so many amazing ideas and inspiration you don't want to miss. Remember that currently you are at my blog - Mikaela Titheridge, from The Crafty oINK Pen here in Cambridgeshire, UK, so check the blog hop line up list to see who is next in the list and enjoy.
