Room on the Broom Packaging

I've been a busy bee today … I've actually managed to have a good play with some new products and some old that I've been wanting to play with and have some class ideas evolving, but mainly I have been pulling together some more plans for our son's upcoming 4th Birthday Party.

If you didn't see the Invites that I posted a little while ago, you won't know that the theme of the party is based on the Julia Donaldson book, Room on the Broom.

Today I have been wrapping the Party Gifts and chose to quite simply wrap in regular Brown paper and stamp using the broom from Tee-Hee-Hee. I then added a Belly Band and a little Rosette style embellishment using the Banner Punch and the Starburst Framelits.

I can't take the credit for the little printed sticker, which I bought through eBay, but I'm really pleased with the finished result.

This effect could be achieved using any stamp set for some simple gift packaging.

I'll share some of the cards with you that I managed to make over the coming few days.

… until then, have a good weekend

  1. Hi, I love your blog- you have so many great ideas. I came across your blog when looking for 'room on the broom' party ideas. Do you sell these stamps? I take it the set used here is no longer available? It is a brand I have never come across but looks great!

  2. Hi there, Our Son's Room on the Broom Party was one of my favourites to date. I do indeed sell these stamps, although this particular one is a retired set now, so no longer available. Stampin' Up! Products are of very high quality and offer such amazing coordination, that they take the hard work out of crafting, leaving you to be able to simply enjoy. If you click on the Autumn/Winter Catalogue image down the right hand column here, you'll see what Halloween stamp sets we currently offer, that may be suitable for what you are after.

I'm so pleased you found my blog and have found inspiration from it. Do keep returning and I hope to keep inspiring you x
