Stampin' Creative Blog Hop - Trick or Treat

It's blog hop time again with the talented girls from the Stampin' Creative Crew and this month it's all about Trick or Treat.

Not into Halloween I hear you say? … Well don't worry, you'll see a variety of makes from Cards that offer Tricks, like Fancy Folds, to Treat packaging, plus a few things Halloween too … so lets get started.

Welcome to everyone who's started here and a warm welcome to those who have hopped on over from the lovely guest, Danielle who herself deserves a hearty welcome for being our guest hopper this month.

I'm not heavily into Halloween … but I do enjoy making a few treat holders for the kids in our village, who come Trick or Treating. We're very lucky, as we have some wonderful children in our village, who all respectfully come escorted and enjoy the fun of getting dressed up and feeling part of the community.

Not having many Halloween supplies in, I had to think on my feet here, so created these mini treat holders using some patterned paper from the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper pack, along with the Gift Bag Punch Board.

I thought it would be fun to create a kind of stitched top to it, so punched a series of holes along the top to thread the Black Twine through. Can you see how I've used the little White Perfect Accents for the Moon?

I may well have used a variety of Stamp Sets and Dies here, but I hope I've demonstrated how we can pull together a theme from a random selection of supplies.

Hopefully you won't be scared off now and you'll hop on over to see what the lovely Caroline has in store for you. Enjoy the rest of the hop and stay safe. Thanks for hopping by.

    1. I do so enjoy creating for Halloween treats for the kiddies here. Not sure I'll have enough of this DSP to create more quite like this, but I will most certainly come up with something similar xx

  6. Again some cute projects hun - and again I love the idea that you can use other paper stacks for Halloween too! Nice stitching too - that's so on trend & stops things falling out or little fingers grabbing all the sweeties too soon! Love them!

    1. I only had some retired Halloween DSP, so I had to think on my feet and find something that was current and suitable. Just shows that it is possible. I'm so pleased you like xx
