Telford Regional Training Day - 11 May 2013

Saturday saw the Stampin' Up! Regional Training Day at Telford and what a day it was .... 300+ Demonstrators all in one room at the same time is a whole lot of Craftiness if you ask me!

An hour and a half road trip for my upline, Sharon Gronow and I and we arrive for a day dedicated to giving Training Tips to excited and enthusiastic Demonstrators through some truly Inspirational Talks, physical demonstrations on Crafting Techniques and some fantastic Prize giveaways ... supported with a whole lot of whooping, clapping, cheering and gangham style dancing ;)

We had a sneak peak of some gorgeous products that will be hitting our crafting tables in the coming months and got told of some exciting news that Stampin' Up! have in store for us all .... so watch this space as the excitement builds even more!

Several lucky Crafters received Free Stamp Sets and FIVE lucky ladies won Free Entry into this years Convention!! How lucky were they?! ..... With this event being the benchmark to go by, I now can't wait until Convention!! .... do we really have to wait until November though?

During the day Demonstrators could take part in 'Swaps', a way of sharing your style with others. You take along as many swaps as you'd like to receive back and exchange your swap for others. I chose to make 40 Swaps all the same and here is what I made.

It was so nice to meet so many lovely Demonstrators all under one roof, exchange ideas and to hear that some were actually taking inspiration from MY blog .... That pleased me no end ... so thank you!!

I've received some lovely feedback on my swap and have even been asked for some tips on how I went about creating it ... so watch this space for a Free Tutorial.

A day with Stampin' Up! wouldn't be complete without a spot of crafting ourselves. We all made these gorgeous covered notepads and pack of mini notecards using the 'Clockworks' Stamp Set and like my Swap, the Two Tags Big Shot Die was used in a different way .... for making the little box.

The fancy flower Punch, a spritz of water and a little scrunching and you can create these gorgeous leather look flowers.

Don't you just love the use of the Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons on here?

If you would like to purchase any of the products that helped create these items, then please do get in contact. If you too want to be a part of the excitement of Convention in November, then get in contact to find out how to join my team, obtain an extra £25 worth of products in your starter kit (only available until 30th May) and have as much fun as me!! x
