When I was asked to create the Tin of Cards Project Kit from the new 2015-2016 Annual Catalogue, I wanted to have a play to see what other cards I could come up with, using the various included embellishments and a few other punches and tools from around the craft room.
The beautiful gold shiny card has pop out strips of Gold Foil that can easily be used to create another card, which I've shown in the Hello card above and even added a flash of gold to the "a happy hello" speech bubble card.
The patterned paper background behind the Thank you, is the paper designed to embellish the Tin Dividers, but it's just so beautiful, that it seems a shame to hide it away.
I wanted to show how the little file tab title words could be used to embellish a card, so I made two baby cards using "Hello Baby". The clouds on the middle card were made using the new Build a Tree Punch that we'll be seeing a lot of when the new catalogue launches.
Here I coupled up the Birthday sentiment with stamps from the Perpetual Birthday Calendar set (I love that set).
This just shows how you don't necessarily have to follow the instructions to create beautiful cards and can create quite a few extras from what elements are left over.
I hope you like what I have shared today …. so who's up for creating the Tin of Cards Project Kit? …
