Santa Claus is coming to town …

Apologies for being a little quiet of late, but I've been busy crafting away for various projects that I have on the go … one of which is creating various festive makes for the Spaldwick Village School Christmas Fair at the beginning of December.

Yes … Santa Claus is coming to town … or at least to our village …

… and in the shape of the Curvy Keepsake Gift Box … and isn't he cute?!

Punch Art certainly puts your punches to good use and I've used several here, but I've enjoyed making them. I held back from buying the Moustache Die until I saw this use for it … I mean, Santa couldn't be without his great big whiskers now could he? Oh no no!

I so hope I've made enough …

Happy Crafting

  6. These are all lovely! Which punch did you use for the scalloped decoration on his hat? X

  7. awww thank you all for your kind comments and for stopping by and taking the time to comment.

The trim on his hat is made using the Petite Pennants Builder Punch. You need to punch a small amount of Glimmer Paper from the bottom straight edge, then reinsert it the opposite way around, to add the scallop edge to the opposite side. I will gladly add a photo tutorial this weekend for you all.

I have added him here to a basic Curvy Keepsake Box, but I've also used him on the front of the Fry Box and to front a flat lollipop.

Do pop back in a few days to check out the tutorial x
